Species Loss could be Slowed, Says Paper Co-Authored by Oonsie Biggs

Branco Weiss fellow Oonsie Biggs contributed to a paper on the outlooks for biodiversity published by the journal Science

The paper comprises the results of an analysis of several major global studies on future changes in biodiversity. The 23-member scientific team from nine countries found universal agreement across the studies that fundamental changes are needed in society to avoid high risk of extinctions, declining populations in many species, and large scale shifts in species distributions in the future.
