George Slavich

Professor George Slavich, former Branco Weiss Fellow (2008-13), is Director of the Branco Weiss Alumni Network. George Slavich studied psychology and communication as an undergraduate at Stanford University, and completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Oregon. Following graduate school, he was a Clinical Psychology Intern at McLean Hospital in Boston, a Clinical Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and a NIMH Post-Doctoral Fellow in Psychoneuroimmunology at UCSF and UCLA. Since 2015, he is Associate Professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and Director of the Laboratory for Stress Assessment and Research at the University of California Los Angeles.
