Lisa Genzel Joins FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence for neuroscience advancement

Branco Weiss Alumna Lisa Genzel has joined the FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence, a network of 30 outstanding early to mid-career European neuroscientists. Established in 2014 by the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) and The Kavli Foundation, this collaborative network is dedicated to advancing neuroscience across Europe through scientific exchange and fostering dialogue between scientists, policymakers, and society.

As a member of the prestigious network, Dr. Genzel aims to enhance inclusivity by providing grants to students from underrepresented countries for research opportunities in Europe. She also advocates for transparent communication on animal research, recognizing the importance of addressing animal-rights concerns.
