Branco Weiss fellow Lisa Genzel has been awarded the Young Investigator Award of the German Sleep Research Society (DGSM). The Award is given out once a year by the DGSM to the most aspiring young German sleep researcher of that year.
Lisa Genzel’s aim as a Branco Weiss fellow is to shed more light into the fundamental processes occurring in our brains during sleep. While her study could already provide evidence that sleep changes the behavioural expression of a memory, now she is investigating the underlying processes.
