Igor Pikovski receives Swedish starting grant

Branco Weiss Fellow Igor Pikovski has been awarded with a substantial grant by the Swedish Research Council. Dr. Pikovski is one of 71 researchers who have been chosen out of 446 applications for a starting grant in natural and engineering sciences. Throughout 2020 to 2023, he will receive a total of 3,2 million SEK (around 330’000 CHF) for his project “Gravitational effects and quantum optics”.
