Branco Weiss fellows Sushant Anand, Carolin Schurr and Amar Vutha were newly appointed as Assistant Professors

Three Branco Weiss fellows have recently been appointed as assistant professors.

Sushant Anand has left the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this August to join the University of Illinois at Chicago as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering.

Also in August, Carolin Schurr, until recently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich, was appointed as Assistant Professor for Transcultural Studies at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Amar Vutha has also started in a new faculty position. Leaving York University in Canada this summer, he became Assistant Professor in the Quantum Optics group of the Physics Department at the University of Toronto.
