Renana Gershoni-Poranne receives a Krill Prize from the Wolf Foundation

The Wolf Foundation has awarded Branco Weiss Fellow Renana Gershoni-Poranne with the Krill Prize for Excellence in Scientific Research. With this award, the prize jury acknowledges Dr. Gershoni-Poranne’s “contributions to the field of organic-physical chemistry and artificial intelligence, particularly in designing new organic molecules for integration into organic electronic technologies”.
The Krill Prizes for Excellence in Scientific Research have been a prestigious annual recognition since 2005 supporting exceptional academic faculty members and promising researchers from Israeli research universities. The prizes are presented by the Wolf Foundation, a private non-profit organization, that both celebrates and promotes exceptional achievements in the Sciences and the Arts worldwide. The judging committee of the Wolf Foundation selects ten winners each year from a pool of candidates proposed by academic institutions in Israel. The Prize is bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated remarkable research breakthroughs and are anticipated to play pivotal roles in leading research and academia in Israel in the future.
