Laura Hendriks gives TEDx talk about her research

On November 28, 2024, Branco Weiss Fellow Laura Hendriks gave a TEDx talk detailing her research on using natural organic dyes as markers to date works of art by radiocarbon (¹⁴C). The presentation titled “Questionner notre patrimoine culturel grâce au carbone 14” (Questioning our cultural heritage thanks to carbon 14) was recorded and can be watched on YouTube.

Dr. Hendriks’s talk was part of the 3^rd edition of a TEDx event in Town Hall of the city of Bulle, Switzerland. The topic of the event was “Future & Traditions”. TEDx events use the TED conference format but are independently organized by local communities.
