Patricia Monteiro appointed to the STF Advisory Board by EMBO

Branco Weiss Fellow Patricia Monteiro has been appointed to the Short Term Fellowships (STF) Advisory Board of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO). As a member of the board her role is to evaluate applications from talented international researchers that apply to this funding scheme. “It is truly an honor to be invited for this role by EMBO and I am happy to help promote EMBO´s mission in supporting talented researchers at all stages of their careers”, says Monteiro.

EMBO is an organization of more than 1800 leading researchers that promotes excellence in the life sciences in Europe and beyond. Founded in 1964, the major goals of the organization are to support talented researchers at all stages of their careers, stimulate the exchange of scientific information, and help build a research environment where scientists can achieve their best work.
